About Us

Who We Are

Founded in 1998 by Pima County Interfaith Council and devoted community members, JobPath is a workforce development and advocacy agency that helps adult students succeed in job-training programs and start meaningful and lucrative careers. We are coaches, administrators, business experts, workforce specialists, and alumni who care about helping students build their path to success.

What We Do

JobPath partners with colleges and job-training centers to provide wraparound case management and financial support for students in Southern Arizona. We also connect students to mentors, coaches, and communities to help them succeed. Programs of study include industrial trades, health care, and information technology.

JobPath provides individualized financial support, removing barriers to success by helping students with both school and non-school related expenses. As many JobPath students are a $400 emergency away from having to drop out of their programs, JobPath supports them all the way across the finish line.

Purpose Statement

Choose your path. Create your future.

Mission

JobPath’s mission is to improve the economic status of underserved adults by removing barriers to educational achievement so that they can lead healthier and more prosperous lives.

Values

Courage

We know that choosing a new path takes courage. We celebrate acts of courage everyday because we believe in their power for growth, learning, and prosperity.

Equity

We recognize that systemic barriers impact people in distinct ways. Everyday we work tirelessly to identify these barriers, remove them, and advocate for prosperity for all.

Integrity

We understand that empowering communities starts with taking responsibility for ourselves. We follow through on our promises and honor our relationships by showing up and telling the truth.

Quality

We have high standards for ourselves, those we serve, and the programs we support – and we do what it takes to fulfill them.

Community

We believe that communities thrive when members have equitable access to opportunities. At JobPath, we foster prosperity in our community by connecting people to their personal pathway to success.

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

JobPath, Inc. appreciates the benefits of diversity among all areas of the organization, from our dedicated staff to those we serve and those that volunteer and support us.

We cherish and respect individuals, teams, JobPath as a whole, and all of our community stakeholders who bring their own unique capabilities, experiences, and characteristics to the program. In addition, we are inclusive of all beliefs, values, abilities, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, personal experiences, and worldviews.

We believe that our success as an agency is a reflection of the quality and skill of all that make our program possible. JobPath commits to seeking out and retaining a highly skilled and diverse workforce, volunteer community and participants to ensure that we accomplish our mission in the most effective, efficient, and robust way possible. JobPath strives to create and foster a supportive and understanding environment in which each of our staff, volunteers and participants can realize maximum potential.

We, along with our Board of Directors, pledge to ensure that all its activities reflect and represent the strengths of the entire Southern Arizona community.

Therefore, JobPath recruits, retains and fosters participant and employee capacity regardless of race, color, ethnicity, gender and gender identification, language, age, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, physical and mental ability, marital status, family status, experience, veteran status and education level.
